Today, I woke up at 5:45am, and I was very tired. I got in the car, and drove and picked up some Starbucks for me and Scott (we ran out of coffee at home). Then, I came home sipped my coffee and tried to wake up. It took me a long time to snap out of my fog. Then, I did some ironing for Scott, and got ready to babysit JoJo (my niece). I rested about 20 minutes before she showed up at 8:30am.
We had a good time this morning. She came in a little tired, so I fed her some breakfast. While she ate her breakfast, I made myself an attain shake and had some water. Then she played a little, watched cartoons while I did stuff on the computer. After giving her a bath and me getting ready, we went on a walk for about half and hour. When I was done babysitting, I came home and ate lunch, and then later took a nap for a couple hours. I just tried to rest and wake up before my evening workout. I had a banana a couple hours before my workout, and that helped give me some energy.
So, as I drove to my workout, I was feeling good and excited. I don't dread the workouts at all. I just really try to get myself motivated, so that I can get the best workout possible. I got to the gym, and we were in the multi-purpose room and getting ready for some hardcore Bosu ball work!!!
I thought the workout was intense, pushed everyone a lot further than most of us normally go, and I was really tired the whole time. My clothes were drenched and I was out of breath the whole time. I noticed that the hardest thing for me is when we work our lower abs and hip flexers. That muscle is absolutely non-existent for me. I feel like I can't even get into the position, and it's like my muscles can't even do the motion, but I'm getting stronger.
The mountain climbers are really tough, so I just do a modified version. When I am able to do those, I will know I have a transformed body. But I love all the core strengthening work that we are doing because I lack strength and can barely do the motions.
I was so tired after the workout, and I am still fatigued. So, when I got home I was able to have a nice dinner: eggs and potatoes with red bell peppers and onions, and a glass of water. And now I'm resting and needing to get out of my cold, sweat drenched clothes!!!
